Conditions of the Authorisation
The works you use are the creations of authors and composers whose work is protected by law. Using them requires Authorisation, which is granted to you by the copyright collecting societies. You sign a single contract/agreement with Sacem and SDRM
Criteria
- The Authorisation agreement covers works in the Sacem repertoire.
- Your authorisation is granted in respect of the reproduction rights and the representation rights.
- In particular, this authorisation does not cover moral rights or derivative rights such as the right to arrange, the right to adapt, the right to translate, etc. Nor does it cover Related rights.

Obtain authorisation
Thank you in advance for sending the following information to vod@sacem.fr:
• URL for your pay-as-you-go video on demand/VOD service
• Launch date of your service
• Type of videos provided by your service: films, series, documentaries, animation,
plays, sport, etc.
• Type of broadcast: single download, preview, single viewing, single rental, etc.
• Business model: free, ad-supported or subscription
• Estimated revenue
• A certified copy of your company’s registration document
• Name and position of the contract signee

The audiovisual works you wish to offer as part of your video-on-demand service may also be part of the repertoires of the following authors’ societies: the SACD (Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers), the SCAM (Civil Society of Multimedia Authors) and the ADAGP (Society of Authors in the Graphic and Plastic Arts).
