Conditions of the Authorisation

• Criteria

  • Your authorisation is granted in respect of the reproduction rights and representation rights for the purpose of listening to and/or viewing music via a subscription service.

    This authorisation does not cover, in particular, moral rights or derivative rights such as the right to arrange, the right to adapt, the right to translate, etc. Nor does it cover Related rights.

  • The authorisation is granted for France, Luxembourg and Monaco.
  • The use of music as part of a promotional campaign associated with a brand is excluded from the scope of this authorisation and must be the subject of a separate application.
  • You are an adult or the legal representative of a minor or a person under guardianship or trusteeship.

• Prices

  • For a single-track music download service with an annual turnover of between €0 and €20,000 (excluding VAT), the applicable fee depends on the number of downloads:
    – Up to 700 plays: €50 (excluding VAT) per year
    – Up to 2,000 plays: €140 (excl. VAT) per year
    – Up to 7,000 plays: €480 (excl. VAT) per year
    – Up to 15,000 plays: €1,000 (excl. VAT) per year
    – Up to 30,000 plays: €2,000 (excl. VAT) per year

  • For a single-track music download service with an annual turnover exceeding €20,000 (excl. VAT), the applicable rate is based on revenue:
    – 9 per cent of revenue (including revenue from advertising, partnerships, sponsorship, etc.)
    – with a minimum of €0.07 (excl. VAT) per single track download or €0.70 (excl. VAT) per album download limited to 15 tracks (for more than 15 tracks downloaded in an album, a minimum author’s rights fee of €0.0435 excluding VAT per additional track will apply).
  • Where the service also provides access to works in the form of previews and/or excerpts, an additional monthly payment of €100 (excl. VAT) applies.
